I recently received some free T-shirts from Shirts.com to use to test out their tutorial for How to Make T-Shirt Yarn. Although I’ve made rag rug crochet items before, I’ve never actually used t-shirts and I’ve never made tarn so it was new to me. I followed their tutorial without any problems and easily made my T-shirt yarn. Check out their post for the full instructions. Below you can see my step-by-step process in photos.

You’ve seen me put puppies in crochet but they aren’t the only pets that people make crochet cozy cuteness for. In fact, animals don’t even need to be pets to get decked out in crochet. Here are ten different animals looking cute in their crochet coziness:
This little kitten was injured by a crow and rescued and was adorned with this little crochet mushroom costume during the healing process. It was to keep her still during her feeding tube time. Sadly I learned that she died a few months later but what cuteness while they tried to save her.

The V-Stitch is a simple crochet stitch that is created by working two double crochet stitches into the same stitch and separating them with a chain space. This creates a lovely open design that works up quickly and can be used to make a variety of different projects from scarves to blankets.
The single V-Stitch is worked with the following three steps:
Step One: DC into stitch
Step Two: Ch 1
Step Three: DC into same stitch
This creates one V-stitch.
Knithacker recently did a fun roundup of knit and crochet pigeons that I enjoyed. Then when I was looking at the newest work from Olek I saw what looks to be a crochet pigeon there so I was inspired to do some poking around and see what crochet pigeons I could find around the web for my own roundup.
