I recently worked with mohair yarn for the first time. I discovered that I don’t like working with mohair. However, this doesn’t have anything to do with the way it crochets up.

I don’t have a new yarn review ready this week so I figured I’d do a roundup linking to the yarn reviews that I’ve done so far this year. I’m happy to say there’s a nice diversity in the type and brands of yarn that I’ve reviewed thus far.

I feel a little bit disappointed with my recent yarn reviews. There’s nothing wrong with the reviews themselves but I’ve been focused lately on reviewing brand name yarn and I’d really prefer to be reviewing indie yarn. But this week it’s another brand name.

This week’s yarn review is of the yarn that is currently my very favorite yarn: Patons Silk Bamboo.
