A couple of months ago I de-stashed a bunch of my vintage craft magazines. In the process I found lots of great inspiring images of crochet. We’ve already looked at 1965 Crochet, 1971 Crochet, 1972 Crochet and 1975 crochet. Let’s look at just a little bit more 1975 crochet, this time from a different magazine: Woman’s Day Granny Squares.

Some of those projects, in a more modern color palette, could actually be nice! I kind of like the 3rd one down. And those shawls remind me of a poncho my grandmother made me when I was a kid in the 70’s :-)
No wonder I love granny squares. I must have received a major dosage of granny propaganda in the year of my birth :).
