@Tink – Please do!! :)
The acorn bag is adorable!!! Great list! Love the Starling bag and I’m sure it will look amazing.
Thanks @Sara! I’m looking forward to making some of these soon and the Starling is definitely one I’m excited about.
I really like the acorn bag, Phazelia’s Laptop case, and Granny’s Valentine Bag. If I did the valentine bag I think I would do it in either blues or greens. And you have inspired be to make a list of the things I want to crochet! (Though I don’t plan on making mine to be 25 items long, yet!)
@Sam – awesome – I’m glad to hear that you’ll be making your own list!
What a great idea! Thanks for bringing it up and I’m looking forward to seeing how they come along!
What a brilliant idea and I’d love to know what you are going to do when you finish all the bags?
@ Carole – That’s a good question. I’m sure I’ll figure out the next big project as I’m working on this one!
This is a great list of bags! I put a lot of my Christmas presents on my list – and I admit, I love the crocheted bag idea but I’m not sure I’ll have the time. I actually crochet small bags for gift cards though and hang them on the tree :)
@Cris – I love the idea of small crochet bags for gift cards. I’m hoping that by starting in July I’ll get my bags done. Last year I gave wine to lots of people and I did crochet up wine bags for it but they were done super quick and I wasn’t crazy proud of them. Good enough but I’d like to do better!
Wow, what a nice selection of bags! Great idea to use them as a part of a Christmas present!
What a fun idea – love all your bag pattern choices!! Happy crocheting!
Great idea. I love Grannys valentine bag – have queued that one now :-)
Wow, that sounds like a fun Ravelry group! I’ll have to check it out!
I’ve been wanting to make Christmas bags for years and my mom has been collecting fabric for me to sew them up. The problem is that I always make many of the gifts anyway and never seem to have time to make the bags, too! :(
I love that acorn yarn holder bag. I look forward to seeing more about your projects for this challenge!
I love so many of the bags – great links! THank you for sharing!
@Maya – Thanks! I really wanted to include photos of each of the bags in the post but I knew if I waited until I had time to do that then I would never get it up.
I love bags and purses – I have a feeling this blog will be a dangerous place for me over the next 12 months!!!! :)
Oh, what a fabulous list! with a list like that, geez, maybe I will join this ravelry group!
