The winner of this award is Kathy of Elk Studio Handcrafted Crochet Designs. Alabama-based designer Kathy learned how to crochet from her 7th grade teacher and has been crocheting off and on ever since.
The winner of this award is Mollie Makes. This crafty magazine has had terrific crochet representation ever since it first came out and the blog reflects this.
This specific award is for the best promotion of the crochet community. What I mean by this is that it goes to the blogger who has done the best job of using her blog to promote others in the crochet community in a variety of different ways.
In this case, it’s all about collaboration so there are ten bloggers named for this award, all contributing to the same single collaborative project. I love the sense of community, sharing and connectedness that goes into a big collaborative multi-blog project.
The winner of this award is Maaike of CreJJtion who is from the Netherlands. Her Dutch crochet book went on a lovely book tour that she catalogued beautifully on her blog.
The winner of this award is Marie Segares of Underground Crafter for her Hispanic Heritage Month Interview Series.
For today’s 2013 Awesome Crochet Blogger Awards I’d like to give an award for the best yarnbombing blog. This year’s crochet award goes to Streetcolor.
