Remarque: Some people are reporting problems commenting on my blog. My awesome web guy is hard at work trying to solve the issue. In fact we’ll be debuting a new comment system next week. If you do experience a problem in the meantime, feel free to me contacter with your comment and I’ll make sure it goes live. OR, if you’re a G+ user then you can post the comment on the discussion thread I’ve started there.
About Discussion Posts
I value what my readers have to say and think that your voice can contribute a lot of knowledge to this blog. Each Friday I’ll post a thought or question that I believe is pertinent to crocheters today. It’s a chance for you to share your thoughts and opinions on the topic. You can just say what’s on your mind about it or you can respond to other people’s comments and thoughts. Always feel comfortable sharing your thoughts but also use common sense in making it clean, respectful and nice to everyone in the group.
Sujet d'aujourd'hui: Crochet Shortcuts
We all know that there are certain things we’re supposed to do when we crochet. Par exemple, we’re supposed to leave very long tails on all work and properly weave in ends. We are supposed to properly change colors instead of knotting the next color into the work. We are supposed to make gauge swatches before beginning a project, especially a wearable project. We are supposed to block our work when it’s done.
Do you do these things? Or do you take shortcuts?
If you take shortcuts, why? And do you feel bad about it or embarrassed by it or do you just own it?
Si vous n'avez pas (or maybe even if you do), do you judge others who do take crochet shortcuts? Be honest!
Discuter dans les commentaires ci-dessous! (Je vais ajouter dans mon grain de sel en réponse que la journée passe.)
