DIGITAL PATTERN ONLY!!! THIS IS NOT A TANGIBLE ITEM!
This pattern is meant for experienced crocheters. There are many different stitches used (which are defined in the pattern). There are many photos (found at the end of the pattern so that you have the option to not print them if you like to preserve ink) to help guide you along as well, so a very adventurous crocheter, even though perhaps not experienced, may find this to be a fun and unique challenge.
This design is meant to be a beautiful stained glass afghan, but I took great care to make it not as complicated as some of the other patterns out there. I’ve made a few different ones, all are amazingly beautiful, but so complex I found I never wanted to make them again. I feel I merged the two worlds together, beauty and crochet heaven. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I used Red Heart Super Saver and an H (5.0 mm) hook and I have a fairly loose gauge. Gauge is not particularly important as long as it is consistent.
Finished Afghan (as shown and with the proper gauge) is 49 inches x 60 inches.
Black (1065 yards) and
Desired colors (up to 6 contrasting colors) I used Red Heart-Polo Stripes (1,490 yards) and switched between five different skeins for color changes when I felt I wanted them.

This pattern has been tested for errors, however, mistakes could slip through, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. I offer my many thanks to my amazing testers who not only took on this challenge, but were so very good at keeping this a secret. I could not have done this without you and for this I am eternally grateful. I also thank my lovely daughter, Celeste, who was my photographer for these photographs. She is only 16 but showed such professionalism with listening to my vision and doing her best to see it come to fruition. I love you my sweet sunshine angel!
