Ruth Sandra Sperling, who blogs at RSS Designs in Fiber (and can be found @rssdesignsfiber on Pinterest / @rssdesigns on Twitter), contributed two beautiful crochet mandalas to the Mandalas for Marinke project along with a fabulous rainbow mandala crochet hat.
This contribution comes from Laura in Oklahoma, a crocheter for 40+ years who explains that the center motif of the mandala is from the Treva G. McCain Tuscan Throw, the next four rows are Laura’s own, and the remainder of the rows are from Wink’s Crochet Mandala for your Home.
I’ve come across two contributions that I photographed and then managed to misplace the names of their owners. Huge apologies and hope that we can correct this!
This contribution to Mandalas for Marinke comes from Kristin Lynn who created a slightly modified, smaller version of Wink’s spoke mandala for me along with her donation. She says, “it’s a “thank you” for drawing attention to depression and for shining a light on Marinke’s cheerful work, and her bright soul.”
Vaidehee of The Happy BandVegan is a “medical writer, vegan food manufacturer, obsessive crocheter, creative soul” who sent this contribution to Mandalas for Marinke.
This contribution to the Mandalas for Marinke project comes from Sarah who says crochet, “definitely saved my sanity when I couldn’t leave the house and even now, though I am getting better”
This contribution to Mandalas for Marinke comes from Maureen who says, “As a nurse I have worked with people who have all varieties of illness and disabilities. My thoughts are with Wink and her family …”
