I just love it when I find a project that is so enjoyable that I would do it all over again. I can't really think of one particular project that I would do over again, but I know there are many.

The thing that comes to mind is anything with granny squares, circles, hexagons, & multiple colors. A project that is mindless. Something that I can work on and watch TV, and not need to think.
Something that I can just pick colors and yarn and enjoy.

Color Changes and Small Wins One Square at a Time
Something with multiple color changes & easy patterns. Nothing too difficult. I don't mind difficult, and I do love doing difficult patterns from time to time, but for something that I want to do repeatedly, I need a variety of colors and small, minor victories along the way, like finishing a square at a time.
Granny squares are the best.

Why Granny Squares Suit My ADHD Brain
I think I've mentioned before that I think I have ADHD. It's hard for me to just work on one project. I get bored after a while.
Granny squares, circles, and hexagons are perfect for someone like me. You can make so many things: blankets, pillows, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Swap the Motif or Yarn and Get a New Project
I love how you can change to a different motif or yarn and have a totally different-looking project.
Crocheting Easy Is My Kind of Meditation
I'm a creature of comfort, I guess. I prefer easy, colorful, bright projects. That means I like to keep things simple.
I have enough to worry about in my daily life without adding more stress to my world. I enjoy having something that lets my brain relax and not think about counting or looking at the pattern constantly. It's almost like meditating to me… Just mindless.
I get some of my best thinking done when I'm crocheting something easy. I think life is too short to stress yourself out over something that is a hobby. Yes, I believe we should challenge ourselves and always strive to do better, but after all, this is a hobby, and it should be enjoyable.
We should all do what we love. If it brings you joy, do it! It doesn't matter what everyone else thinks or if anyone else likes it.
As long as you do, that's all that matters.
