Finished Size: Make to any dimensions. Each motif measures approx. 10” square. Sample blanket was 4 squares x 5 squares plus 3” edging or approx. 46” x 56”.

About the Pattern: One thing I have often been asked to sell, in addition to patterns, is “time to crochet”. Well, that I cannot do, but with this “Thyme to Crochet” afghan, I’m getting pretty close.

Materials: You may use yarn and hook of choice and work to your own gauge.
• DK or light worsted weight yarn – approx. 2,800 yards
• Crochet hook size H (5.0 mm)

Stitches used include - ch, sl st, sc, dc, fpsc, fpdc, bpdc; Edging is done using knit-look rib stitch.

Pattern is written in standard American crochet terms.

I’ve just finished this blanket and it’s really lovely. I’d only been crocheting for two weeks when I started the pattern, so even if you’re a complete beginner I would still give it a go. I learned a lot! It took me about 110 hours to complete, but I’m sure most people would be much faster. I did change the border because I was gifting it and I ran out of time!
