How to Crochet a Cactus

I used to live in Tucson, Arizona, where the trees have green bark (palo verde) and the cacti produce colorful flowers each spring. There are a few things that I miss about the desert – the sunsets, the lightning storms – and it always makes me smile when I see crochet cacti because it combines my love of craft with my love of the desert. I recently came across a new crochet cactus pattern by Frank&Olive and had to share:

  1. Oh I just love these!!!! Yes, quite simply the desert is amazing…love the sunsets – purple, blue, red and orange – nothing quite like it, the monsoons, the cacti, the smell in the air – these little cacti crochet projects look so fun! thanks for sharing!!
