Yarnbombing Los Angeles has put out a call for entries for a collaborative fiber art project themed “California Landscapes”.

Call for Entries: The Basic Info

  • Consider the theme: What does a California Landscape mean to you?
  • How can you convey that idea in the form of a crochet or knit square?
  • Submit a sketch of the idea for consideration.
  • You may work in teams or as an individual; you may submit up to three ideas for consideration.
  • Sketches are due for consideration by August 3, 2016.
  • Up to 28 large rectangles (36″ x 48″) and 21 small squares (24″ x 30″ will be selected for the exhibition.
  • Your finished piece is due in early February 2017.
  • The exhibition will be an outdoor display at The Autry in spring 2017.
