Kathryn-Thank you for all the great tips and patterns throughout the year. I suffer from depression off and on. Nothing as debilitating as you have gone through. Crochet has always helped me to get to the other side of it. I thought the idea helped me, only. It is amazing to find out that crochet has become another tool in our arsenal against depression.
I would like to thank you for introducing me to Marinke. It was through your book that I came to know her. Although I knew her and her wonderful patterns for such a short time, I will miss her wit and creative genius for ever. I wish I had told her that she helped me to overcome my reticence to use too much color. I see the world differently, now.
Speaking of color- you had a hand in my color use, as well. My first(and probably only) project for the new year is Sophie. Wish me luck.
Thank you, again, for all you do to make my world a more wonderful place to be. Roseanne.
You know, I know the Sophie pattern is not yours, but some of your posts have encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone. This pattern is on the other side of the world from comfort zone, for me.
I forgot, Merry Christmas and a great New Year.
