Paula is an Australian crocheter who formerly ran the Etsy shop FlamingPot. The Instagram and Facebook pages under that same name are still up, although they have not been active since 2019.
Paula began to crochet in October 2012 to help her through the grieving process of losing her stillborn daughter, named Gabrielle, and she has been crocheting avidly ever since.
She says:
“Gabrielle gave me talent that I never knew I have. Every crochet I make, I always dedicate to her, and to her rainbow sister, Giselle, our bundle of joy.”

Although Paula is no longer actively selling on Etsy, we wanted to highlight some of the great work she has done and hope you'll be inspired by her creativity!

FlamingPot is most noteably known for the fun and unique donut shape items made! From realistic looking pretend donuts like this, to donut pillows, this is the look that started and fueled Paula's business!

Along with the lifesized play pretend donuts, FlamingPot also made larger than life donut pillows! They are perfect for accent pillows on a couch, or outside use on the patio!

FlamingPot was able to make these adorable donut dolls to make all types of fun characters and animals! With the hole in their middle, these dolls are great for infants and big kids alike as a squishy!

Although FlamingPot does create the full doll look, she was selling these donut animal faces prior to the full doll look. We love how adorable these are and perfect for a little baby stuffy!
