Every week, fabulous creative people tag their crochet images with #crochetconcupiscence and #crochetsavedmylife to get included in the weekly roundups. Each week for the past year and a half, I’ve chosen featured Instagrammers, and starting tomorrow I’ll be doing daily posts reminding you of all of their beautiful work. But first, I’ve got seven new featured IGers I want to introduce you to:
1. Little Bird Bunting
Lara of @littlebirdbunting is a mum of 2, Worthing Speech & language therapist assistant, crochet fanatic & bunting lover who share her beautiful crafty photos on Instagram and also on Facebook. She has beautiful simple projects in single colors and more complex multi-colored projects and both are lovely to behold.
Tanya Chin of @love2loop says “it’s hard to beat a person who never gives up”. She shares other inspirational quotes on Instagram along with photos of her family, the books she loves, things that make her smile and of course what she’s crocheting. She’s great with the granny squares although she does other projects as well.
Madelyn of @madwhimsy says she’s an “artist, painter, sewer, crocheter, crafter, reader, traveler, wanderer, dreamer, and quasi-writer about such things”. She can be found under the same name on Ravelry, Flickr and Pinterest. Her Instagram is rich with crochet, kitties and fabulous food photos. Always a joy to behold.
Marta of @mrsdaftspaniel has a homemade business that she loves as well as a blog where she shares free crochet patterns and other goodies. She says, “I love making things by hand, including crochet, sewing, paper crafts, cooking & baking, drawing and most recently knitting.” Her Instagram is a delightful colorful display of this work.
I’m in love with every photo by Magda de Lange of @rawrustic on Instagram and the Pigtails blog. Whether bright and light or dark and simple, each photo showcases her unique style of crochet as well as her photo skills. IG says she is a “Global Nomad | Doha | Researcher | Travel | Coffee | Texture | Fiber who loves Places & People with grit & soul and Live(d) in SE Asia, Africa & ME”. Do follow her. She’s fabulous.
And check out the goodness from @xtinerat:
