For those of you who are just joining in, this is the Sunday Instagram crochet roundup. Anyone who wants to is welcome to tag their own crochet photos on Instagram each week using the #crochetsavedmylife or #crochetconcupiscence tags. These are collected here, where I try to sort at least some of them into themes so that we can see what’s trending right now in crochet. They don’t all get posted (blurry images, doubles, private accounts are a few examples of some that don’t make the cut) but a large percentage of them do so feel free to join in! Follow me on Instagram here.
This week’s featured Instagrammer is Australian crafter @flamingpot. She shares on her Etsy: ” I started doing crochet on October 2012 after I lost my stillborn daughter, Gabrielle and I never stop crocheting since then. She gave me talent that I never knew I have. Every Crochet I make, I always dedicated to our angel Gabrielle & her rainbow sister, Giselle, our bundle of joy.” You can also visit her on Facebook. Here’s what she shared with us this week:
This final photo of the week is a share from elsa_and_chloe1 – you can see the flamingpot donut cushions in there

This week @louloudeane visited the Phillips Gallery and took tons of beautiful photos of the crochet art by amazing award-winning artist Joana Vasconcelos. I’ll share just a few of those photos here but do pop over to her feed and get inspired by them all!

My Crochet on Instagram
This week I shared a lot of reposts from people who inspire me in crochet but of course I also shared my own work including my donations of crochet leaves for the #ncieleaf yarnbombing project in Australia. Contributions are due 9/13/15 and you can get all the details from the @queen_babs profile if you’re interested in contributing.
I did some furniture rearranging this week and created new cozy spaces in my house for crafting, reading and writing.
I’m obviously still making lots of crochet Mandalas for Marinke
Lucy and I did some pet therapy volunteering this week and I was happy to see several people crocheting there!
