Craftsy Blogger Awards - Nominate Me badge

It’s time for the 2015 Craftsy award nominations! If you like Crochet Concupiscence, you can nominate my blog. There are three categories and since I’m not a Craftsy instructor (although I am a Craftsy crochet blogger!) this blog only qualifies for two of them: Best Photography and Best Tutorials. I’ve recently done a roundup of my crochet tutorials that you can check out here to see if you think that’s a good fit.

More About the Awards

craftsy crochet awards

Craftsy is “honoring the bloggers from around the web who inspired us throughout 2014.” There are fifteen different categories (sewing, paper crafts, etc.) of which crochet is one. And within that, there are (as I mentioned) three awards: Best Photography, Best Tutorials and Best Blog from a Craftsy Instructor. Nominations will be accepted through January 20th.

Then What?

Via Craftsy:

“Only the top four blogs per each award and category will continue onto the next round of voting. The judging process is determined 50% by your individual votes and 50% by our panel of expert judges, so your vote is VERY important!”

“On Friday, January 23, we’ll announce the top four finalists from each category and award. Then, you will have one week to vote for the blogs that wowed you the most this year. As in the first round, the winners of the second round will be determined by reader votes and the Craftsy Judging Panel.”

“On January 30, we’ll announce one winner and one runner-up for each award and category!”

And You Can Win a Craftsy Class

It’s nice to nominate your favorite blogs just to celebrate them but you also get a bonus for being a part of the Craftsy nomination process. You get entered to win a free Craftsy class. There are lots of great Craftsy crochet classes so it’s worth a shot.

Nominate Your Favorites

Of course awards are great and I’d love to be nominated but I encourage you to nominate any crochet and craft blogs that you think are worthy of these awards. We have an awesome community of people doing amazing creative work and it’s terrific to honor them in this way. It doesn’t have to be me … it could be any of your favorites.
