How to Crochet a Two-Color Wave Stitch

Worked in two colors the wave stitch creates a beautiful undulating design. Here’s how to do it:

Step One:

Using color A, crochet a starting chain that is a multiple of 8 st + 4. For this example I did ch 20.

Step Two:

Skip 2 ch (counts as first sc) and crochet 1 sc in each of next 3 ch, *1dc into each of next 4ch, 1sc into each of next 4ch, rep from * to end.

Step Three:
