Today’s crochet quote is all about how we should be sharing crochet with each other. It’s from Pat Rogers, a volunteer crochet educator who was recently profiled on Patch.

“I think that anybody who wants to learn how to knit or crochet, or needs help with their knitting or crocheting should be able to get that help without having to pay for it. I think anyone who knows how to crochet, and crochet well, should share it with other people — the ones who want to learn, of course.”

I love the sentiment with this quote. That said, I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with charging a fee to share your crochet knowledge with others. What do you think?

I’m a fan of the free stuff, too. There is so much knowledge to share, and thankfully the Internet helps us get so much of that information for free. I wish I had a next door neighbor, though… someone I could walk over and chat with and ask questions of. Maybe one day…

@ShortySutures … It’s definitely important to have a local community as well as an online community.
