Well, this isn’t the best picture of my crochet work but I wanted to share these simple floral designs that I’ve been making. As you can kind of see in the picture I wear them as both headbands and necklaces. They’re a really simple thing to work up and provide a burst of color that I like wearing.

I mostly wanted to share them because I donated a few to Annie’s Gifts for Chemo, a project I wanted to mention here. It’s a group that gives gifts to chemo patients. Instead of donating the usual “chemo caps” they give happy, fun gifts designed to bring a smile, which I think is a terrific idea. They accept ongoing donations and you can check them out on Ravelry via the link above to see some of the ideas for what you may want to send.

  1. Cute, and fun colors too. What a nice idea. My other blog, Bridge and Beyond is a charity based blog, so am always happy to see others giving to worthy causes.

@Tami – thanks so much for the positive feedback! I was able to use up some scrap yarn and make some cute stuff for a good cause at the same time. :)
