At the end of December, the New York Daily News had an interesting article about a crochet artist named M.L. Kinnel who sells his work on the streets of New York for a living. He makes a nice little side profit by quickly crocheting up simple hats using inexpensive Red Heart yarns. I enjoyed this quote from him:

“The best part about it is it’s me actually believing in myself and seeing my talent as something useful that makes people happy. It’s not just making money, you know?”
