My newest crochet shrug is actually really simple. I just crocheted a large granny circle. Then I folded over the top part of it and seamed together the ends to make the arm holes.


I took an old crochet pillow, opened it up and used the large swatch of fabric as the basis for a new oversized crochet shrug.

Today’s Etsy crochet feature selection is a pretty brown bolero jacket from bysweetmom. It’s a granny square piece with some interesting features.


One way to make sure that this crochet shrug has a cool look instead of a frumpy one is to put it over a really bright color like the red shirt that I’m wearing today.
