I have spent a great deal of thought working on a new plan for that portion of Patreon and have come up with changes that feel right. I hope that they will be right for you as well.
I send out a crochet newsletter once per month to everyone who supports my work through Patreon. This newsletter includes carefully curated original content that is generally unpublished elsewhere. Here is what you missed in November’s message if you aren’t on the email list.
As many of you know, I’m requesting support through Patreon to keep this blog alive and active. Yesterday I shared some new milestones and today I wanted to let you know that I’ve also added new rewards. You can get lots of new things from CC when you support through Patreon
Two of my favorite weekly posts – the Link Love posts and the Instagram roundups – will be changing dramatically unless you can come through with support through Patreon. Here is the info on what will change and what you can do if you love these posts.
I wanted to let all of you know that I have joined Patreon, which is a place where artists and makers can share their visions and get supported by the people who believe in what they do. It is not the same as Kickstarter or Indiegogo; you’re not funding a particular project but instead committing a monthly amount to help support the general work of a creator that you love. I’ve signed up for it because the support from a community can really help me to take my work a lot further than it can go on its own. I work really hard to use my writing to support others (highlighting designers and crafters, interviewing creative people, sending messages of support to those in need) and if the greater community supports my efforts then I can pay it forward stronger in kind.
Advertising on Crochet Concupiscence is a fabulous way to get your brand in front of many different people who love crochet while also supporting an indie blogger who loves to share as much as possible in the community of crochet.
You can reach thousands of people each month by advertising with Crochet Concupiscence. Take a look at the numbers and see if it’s right for you.
