I miss doing the weekly roundup of Link Love shares, featuring all of the awesome things people are sharing and making in crochet, which I had to cut out of the blog because of how time consuming they are. De vez em um tempo, I get an awesome sponsor who helps me bring an edition back, which is how this post comes to you today. A huge thanks to American Yarns for bringing us this post.
Much of July was spent getting the final submissions uploaded for the Mandalas for Marinke project (which I showcased in yesterday’s roundup). Houve 60+ posts to wrap up this part of the project. I’m now working on organizing the entire year plus worth of work into an art book and art show. I did manage to get some other posts about crochet up, Embora, both here on the blog and in other places around the web.
I really enjoyed making some crochet items for a friend’s baby girl recently, playing with different colors and sizes, hoping that she’ll be able to fit in some of the items now and grow into others.
I’ve come across two contributions that I photographed and then managed to misplace the names of their owners. Huge apologies and hope that we can correct this!
Recently we took a look at 15 ways to upcycle a crochet blanket into wearable fiber art. But blankets are not the only thing you can upcycle into mixed media fashion (as we’ve seen previously with doily dresses). Aqui estão 30 deslumbrante, inspiring examples of upcycled crochet fashion.
Roundup of a month’s worth of crochet.
I’ve been taking a look back at the guest posts I did after Crochet Saved My Life was first published. Here is one and links to others!
