Post image for Crochet Link Love for All The Top Posts of The Week

This week I was thankful for many, many things and one of those things was the terrific crochet blogging community that I get to be a part of. Here’s my roundup of the best posts of the week from that community.

Algo especial

Uau – an entire city is being yarnbombed. Streetcolor explica: “in March 2013 the entire port city of Genova will be yarnbombed or as they say in Italybombarded with yarn” . The city has set up more than a hundred different locations for people to meet and knit - including libraries, senior homes civil service buildings, youth organizations and even a prison.

I loved that Cami of Arte, Like Bread said this week:

One of the things I really love about crochet is how it makes me feel. I love the entire process of creating something unique and useful. It may sound funny, but it actually makes me feel powerful!”

Thanks for the link love Kathryn! I had no idea anyone else was talking about ergonomic and hooks too! Guess we're all tapping into the same crochet consciousness right now. I have struggled with my 3rd and 4th videos here the last two weeks for my challenge series. Hopefully I will be able to get them presentable by the end of next week. Took far longer than I would have liked on the first two. :/
