I recently made a virtual world faux pas. I included a link to an article by crochet writer Kim Werker in my link love roundup. I always notify people when they’ve been written about on my blog so I popped into my gmail and sent a note toKim Guzman. I had accidentally mixed up the online identities of these two crocheting Kims in my mind. Kim Guzman was super nice about it and explained that people do this all the time and have been doing so for years.

No entanto, I felt a bit bad. Em primeiro lugar, I had actually been aware that I sometimes mixed these two up in my mind so I always actively tried to pay attention when mentioning one or the other on the blog. But more than that, I think that each of these women does terrific work on her own and each has a blog I like so they totally deserve for people to individually remember who each of them is! I figured the best way to rectify the situation was to sit down and write a profile of each of these women, highlighting their terrific work. At the very least, this should drill into my own mind who I’m referencing each time I want to share something new from one of them!

Kim Guzman sells her designs through a few different spots including her own online retail store Kimane Designs, que ela lançou em 2005. Here are a few of her crochet patterns:
