To świetna strona szydełka. Nauczyłem się szydełka w wieku 9 a ja jestem 60 teraz. I szydełkowane dużo podczas 60-tych i 70-tych. My mother and her aunt used to have bazaars and made crocheted dolls for bathroom tissue covers, pot holders and edgings on towels and kitchen towel toppers. I learned through them, then in my 20's I bought a book "I taught myself to Crochet" and learned the language and really took off making items by the patterns. But, I'm not proficient by no means, there's so much I could learn, but I'm a lazy crocheter, because if it gets complicated I put it down. I like mindless crocheting so I do a lot of scarves, shawls, hats and ponchos. I don't like to make blankets or afghans. Thanks for being out here promoting crocheting. I get so tire of the attitudes of knitters as if crochet is not acceptible. It's a wonderful, beautiful fiber artform, and is fit for anything you want from a wedding dress to a pair of shoes. It can be ultra fancy and lacy even when using wire. I love crochet as I love all fiber arts. And just so you know I learned to knit at the same age. And I still knit too. But still, I haven't made anything but scarves, ponchos and shawls. Sewing is where I really do a lot. I've made clothes, bags, quilts and many things sewing. But again, thanks for the site and all the crochet information.
