Great Find: Godzilla and the Crochet Hexaflexagon

Here’s an example of why I love the Internet. Last night I was online chatting with Cris in the iYarny group (which I’ll tell you about in more detail next week when I’ve got time for a longer post but I recommend joining and you can learn more about it here).

Cris mentioned something about math-related crochet and then I remembered that there is a site somewhere with a lot of that and she remembered that it was Wooly Thoughts, so she started browsing that when we were talking and mentioned, “wouldn’t it be cool to crochet a hexaflexagon?” Well I was off the Wooly Thoughts site by then so I just googled Crochet Hexaflexagon and I found this:

That’s Godzilla with a crocheted hexaflexagon. Awesome. I love it. You can visit that last link to see an entire series of awesome pictures that reveal the true wonders of this math crochet piece and show off Godzilla in all his glory.
