I pretty much always have a large crochet granny square blanket on my hooks lately. The one I worked on most recently was one that I really enjoyed because I decided to use a bunch of yarn favorites that I’d been saving for quite some time.
I recently made this large crochet granny square blanket that I ended up gifting as a baby blanket to a pregnant friend of mine. I rarely work in yellow but ended up loving it.
I made something else with the same yarn – a granny square shaped crochet shruglet for myself.
I showed you the step-by-step photos of how I made T-shirt yarn using the Shirts.com tutorial for How to Make T-Shirt Yarn. But I never showed you what I ended up making with that T-shirt yarn: a covered crochet Chihuahua bed.
I recently crocheted myself a lovely stretchy scarf. It’s made with Loops & Threads super fine merino/ nylon/ cashmere blend yarn
I love the technique. It’s beautiful and it’s a lot easier than I originally expected. So I’ve got a new broomstick lace crochet make to share.
