I’ve mentioned a few times that Yarn Bombing Los Angeles is doing a big crochet installation at a Los Angeles museum this year called CAFAM: Granny Squared. They explain:
“YBLA has teamed up with crocheters all over the world to cover the facade of the Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles, California, in granny squares. This will be a public art project that will make a colorful statement and feature the work of people from all over the world, artists and non-artists alike.”
Een paar honderd van ons droegen pleinen aan de gevel van het gebouw te dekken. De groep heeft nu een website die pronkt de verschillende bijdragen van ieder van ons die pleinen gedoneerd. I’m so honored that they included this photo of my contribution:
Do check out the site which allows you to look at the contributions by contributor, location, square colors, number of squares and more. Great organization on their part. I really hope that I’ll get a chance to get down to LA to see the exhibit this spring.
