I mentioned earlier this month that I had been doing a lot of new crochet after taking a short hiatus from the craft. I’ve already shown you some of the strofinacci crochet I’ve made as well as the crochet items I upcycled into flowers for my window containers. Qui sto arrotondando alcuni degli altri elementi che ho a maglia di recente. Spero che vi piaccia!
Unique Yarn Crochet Skirt
Awhile back I got some vintage yarn that reminded me of hosiery yarn. I never knew what I’d do with it but suddenly I got inspired to crochet myself a skirt with it. The amount I had was too short for a skirt on its own so I decided to add some furry Patons Voodoo black yarn to lengthen it. I didn’t follow a pattern for the skirt but it’s made mostly of single, half double and double crochet stitches and was made using a K size crochet hook.
Two-Toned Textured Crochet Fringe Scarf
This one started out as a project I was doing just because I wanted to crochet meditatively working with a really nice yarn. I started out with the blue green yarn, which is a worsted weight yarn that’s mostly wool with a little nylon for stretch. I’m pretty sure I got it from Sincere Sheep. I created texture for the scarf by doing 2dc then 1sc across each row, always putting the dc in a dc and the sc in a sc stitch. When I ran out of the yarn I decided that the best way to finish the scarf would be to make it a two-tone asymmetrical scarf using a cream-white color. I continued the same stitch pattern. I don’t put fringe on a lot of my scarves but for some reason I felt it was right on just one end of this one. I’m loving it.
Bobble Crochet Headphone Holder
This is one of those quick projects that was born of an immediate need. I kept getting my keys tangled up in my headphones in my purse. I figured that if I put the headphones into a little crochet bag then it would not only solve the problem but also keep the headphones from getting damaged in there. I love bobbles so I figured I’d just do some bobbles to make a little textured bag. Nothing special but it’s functional!
What have you been crocheting lately?
