I mentioned last week that I had donated crochet granny squares to a big yarnbombing art project that’s taking place this spring at the Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles. If you look at the list of participants you’ll see that the 33 squares I donated are among contributions from more than 150 people from around the world. Every Little Bit Counts
These crocheters who donated so many squares are amazing and awesome. But what is also important to remember is that in a community art project such as this one every single little bit helps. That’s why the YBLA folks have listed every single participant including those who donated only one square each. Each square helps make the whole just like each stitch makes a finished crochet item. I am so happy to be a part of this project and really look forward to seeing it come together.

Nearly all of the states in the United States were represented with donations and there were donations from at least one and half dozen other countries. Wow!
The Crochet Art Exhibit

I am honored to have my crochet squares be a part of this exhibit. It will run for six weeks and I really hope to get down to Los Angeles during that time to check it out!
