“Regional magazine for Women age 50+ is looking for female crafters to write about a craft to share with other women.” In addition to general craft stories, they are specifically “looking for female crafter to write a story about how she learned to do a craft (couture, crochet, tricoter, what-ever) with her mother for our May edition which is a tribute to Mothers for Mother’s Day.”

At the same time the media generates programs celebrating real estate shenanigans, and the most extreme of home renovations. This exhibition will include the work of contemporary artists who use the idea of ‘home’ as a source of inspiration.”

Artist in Residence Opportunity
Mendocino, CA art center is looking for college-degree artists (BFA, MFA, etc) who want to be part of the artist in residence program. It’s a nine month residency and you get housing in a furnished apartment as well as access to the art studios to work on your fiber art.
