Écharpe au Crochet de ma soeur

I guess I didn’t bring anything new with me to Vegas to show off for my usual Wednesdaywhat I’ve made” Publier. Cependant, while my sister was staying with me I helped her make a crochet scarf. I showed and then taught her my favorite textured stitch pattern (which is the fptc, bptc repeated again and again across a row).

Here’s what she made:

It’s a nice long textured warm scarf!

The Yarn Used

The bulk of the scarf is made using Red Heart Shimmer. Que puis-je dire – I gave my sister some of my less fancy yarn. I actually really like this yarn, Bien que. She used the black shimmer which has a great glitter to it. She decided to do one row of single crochet using my blue sparkly Lanalux yarn (another yarn I like), which was a nice choice because it added just the right touch of color to the scarf!

Do you ever using post stitches in your crochet work?

  2. Love front post and back post stitches. They are the basis of Cables in crochet. Over the holidays I made Playin’Hooky’s Ridge Beanie and a couple of years back I did CrochetDad’s Cable hat. Both super nice hats to work up.
