Today’s Awesome Crochet Blog Award is for the blogger who consistently shares the best finds in crochet from all around the web. When a blogger does this well it means that she has her finger on the pulse of crochet trends, is interested in promoting the items designed by others and is happy to give us a sense of her own style by sharing what she likes. It’s a powerful thing. Plus it helps us as readers to discover crochet inspiration we might not have seen before.

Meredith is a Texas-based yarn-loving blogger and Etsy shop owner who does work in both knitting and crochet. She loves bright colors – think modern shades of the rainbow – which you can easily see on her well-designed blog. Her sense of style sense to combine contemporary and vintage inspirations into her own voice; echa un vistazo her Pinterest boards to see what I mean.

Many bloggers share cool stuff in crochet on a regular basis. One Sheepish Girl won this award because:
- Of her Weekly Blush List. Each week she shares items with us that she’s loving. They come from a variety of categories but the first two are almost always one knit and one crochet item. I always look forward to these posts where the blogger often shows me something in crochet that I hadn’t spotted yet myself.
- She has beautiful photos on her blog. She always chooses the best photos and edits them well. This makes me want to know more about the items that she’s sharing. It doesn’t really have anything to do with this award per se but I also always love her own photos showing what she’s up to. She has a great sense of style, color and organization.
- Meredith keeps her commentary short and sweet. She does tell us exactly why she likes what she’s sharing but she doesn’t drone on and on about it; she shares her thought and let us as readers make up our minds for ourselves. It’s a great trait.
