Mi casa de ganchillo: Circle Vests = Wall Art

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with my blank bedroom walls for awhile. I finally came up with a solution:

Crochet el arte de la pared!

If those hanging pieces of crochet look familiar to me, it’s probably because you’ve seen me wearing them before:

The two items are circle vests that I made awhile back. I love their dramatic effect but I don’t wear them all that much. They’d been serving as decoration on two chairs in my living room but their colors don’t actually match the color scheme of my living room. They are perfectly matched to the bedroom however.

Now I’m the first to admit that I need to do a better job of hanging these crochet wall art pieces. They’re off-kilter and crooked, with nails in the wrong places so that they aren’t shaped evenly. ¿Qué puedo decir? I’m a short girl and my ceilings are really tall and I did the best that I could. I actually have a super long list of things that need to be adjusted in this home when I get a nice tall friend to come over and lend me a hand. But all in all, I’m really really happy with my new crochet wall art even though it needs to be re-hung properly.
