I’m using the wild card topic for this last day of Knitting and Crochet Blog Week. It asks us to plan our perfect crochet day. Here’s mine:
I’d Be At Home
But instead of what my home looks like, I’d be in a home that looks like this:
Granny Square Wreck Room by Allyson Mitchell
I’d Be Wearing Cozy But Cute Clothing
Because that’s how I’m happiest
I’d Have Both Books and Hooks
I love to crochet but I wouldn’t crochet the entire day. I would alternate between crocheting and reading throughout the day. Lately I’ve been obsessing over vintage free form crochet books from the 1970s so that’s what I’d currently probably choose from my perfect craft day although I’m also loving Arte a llevar from the 80′s and there’s still tons of that to flip through!
I’d Have Marathon TV On
I love when there’s a show that I didn’t know before and I really get into it and can watch episode after episode all day long. Since it would be a new show, I don’t know what it would be. It would be a crime drama if I thought one existed that I hadn’t already seen.
Documentary-ish “reality” guilty pleasure shows, medical dramas, design competitions and dramadies are all also likely.
There Would be a Fire in the Fireplace
I’m always cold and fire is always nice.
The Right Drinks
I don’t know what I’d eat on this perfect crochet day but I do know that the day would start with coffee and end with wine.
Y …
I’d finish all of my WIPS, have enough yarn for exactly what I want to do and have plenty of room in the dresser for anything new I make. ¡Eh, we’re dreaming right?
