On Wednesday I try to show you some of the stuff that I’ve crocheted in the past. Although I’ve been working on a lot of other stuff recently, I’ve been digging back through my crochet pictured, enjoying looking at the stuff that I crocheted in the past. This was the first shrug that I ever crocheted and in fact the first real “clothing” item that I crocheted. The yarn is stiff and cheap and the shrug is too square for my personal tastes but I was super proud to have finished an item that was worthy of being worn out of the house (and wasn’t just another scarf). I’ve actually even worn it a few times since. I haven’t made a new shrug in a long time (although I did make a collar / caplelet combo last month). Perhaps I should try again.
