I recently discovered the chunky crochet baby blankets made by Peanut Tree. They’re simple and yet they are cozy and contemporary. I’m a fan!
The second that I saw the press release announcing the work of Mady Gerard, I knew that she was someone I needed to know more about. She was a 1970s crochet designer, which I adore, and she’s an 84-year-old woman who is still going strong with her crochet work today, which I adore even more. I immediately delved into her informative website and fell in love.
Interweave Crochet has a Special Home Issue out in which I’ve written an article about Ilaria Chiaratti Bonomi of IDA Lifestyle. In it, she shares some of the crocheters who have inspired her. Can you guess who they are?
I’ve really been enjoying checking out the work of one of my blog sponsors, Jessie At Home, and wanted to tell you a bit more about her today so that you could enjoy her work as well.
Sarah Goldschadt is a Brooklyn-based crafter and designer who has a love of knit and crochet.
An update and information on the beautiful work of Crochet Artist Susan Morrow.
