Purple Crochet Dress, Second Glance

I showed you my purple crochet dress when I first finished making it. Here’s a reminder:

When I wore it that time I was wearing it over a dark tank top and black tights. It’s a very openwork design, αν και, so it can look a bit different worn over lighter clothes. I thought I’d share that:

What I’ve done here is worn the dres over a white tank top and a short black slip. I’ve pulled the skip up high to create the illusion of a high waist on the dress. And I’ve added fishnet tights that kind of mirror the openwork design in the dress. (Plus purple boots because what girl doesn’t love purple boots?!)

I am more likely to wear the dress the first way but I like the option of wearing it with lighter colors, πάρα πολύ. I think it would also look good with a plain light purple full-length slip underneath it. What do you think would be a good way to wear this dress?
