Παράθεση πλέκω: It’s hot!

Σήμερα crochet quote is the intro line to a crochet slideshow from The Washington Post. I don’t know the author’s name but I like the quote!

“Crochet has morphed from homespun to hot. Once commonly associated with cake plates and coverlets, the loosely woven knit made a strong spring showing on dresses, beachwear and ballet flats.”

If I wanted to make this quote a bit more timeless I’d turn it around and say, “Once commonly associated with cake plates and coverlets, crochet has morphed from homespun to hot.” And oh how it has!
