Ten Steamy Hot Free Crochet Patterns for Swimsuits

I previously did a roundup of the 30 most beautiful crochet swimsuits. But what if you don’t want to buy a swimsuit – you want to make one? Here are ten of the best free crochet patterns for hookers who want to stitch their own swimwear.

1. Tripoli Crochet Bikini

This DROPS Design is crocheted using a G hook and the pattern is available online in multiple languages.

2. Pink Crochet Bikini

This crochet bikini pattern is available as a free Ravelry download from FashionMartina. It is worked in sport weight cotton using a C/D crochet hook.

3. Starfish Bikini

The free crochet pattern for this bikini is on a Russian website. You can use a translator tool to figure out what it’s saying but it also comes with symbol charts so if you’re graph-inclined then you may use that to help you work the pattern.

4. Pineapple Monokini

I Am a Crazy Yarn Lady shares her free crochet pattern for this one-size-fits-most crochet monokini. It uses DK weight cotton yarn and is stitched with a C hook.

5. 1970’s Bikini

This free crochet pattern comes from a 1971 issue of Mon Tricot Knit & Crochet. The pattern offers full coverage for a bikini, which many people find preferable to the teeny tiny string bikinis often popular today.

6. Another Monokini Option

Craft-Craft offers a free tutorial for this crochet monokini.

7. Ciclamino Bikini

I like the shell stitches and unique shape on this bikini. The free pattern is offered as a pdf download via Crochet Pattern Central.

8. Colorful Crochet Bikini

This colorful crochet bikini is cheeky cute! You can see the free pattern online here.

9. Rio Bikini with Cover Up Tank

This is a free crochet pattern from Lion Brand Yarn that is intended for experienced crocheters. It is worked with Cotton-Ease yarn and a G size crochet hook.

10. Stripes and Shorts

I think this free crochet pattern looks super cute. It seems a bit tough to read so I’d say it’s best tackled by an experienced crocheter.
