I just wanted to let you know that I have a long post up today on my personal blog, Diary of a Smart Chick, about the Mandalas for Marinke project and the personal impact it’s having in terms of my own life.
Today I thought I’d share with you some photos of the many crochet mandalas that I’ve already made for the Mandalas For Marinke project, along with a story that I wrote for a class last semester.
I recently sent a variety of crochet contributions to Knitteapolis for the Knit the Oval yarnbombing project. They included crochet WIPs and hyperbolic crochet.
Yesterday I shared my post about the t-shirt yarn crochet baskets I made using yarn from Wool and the Gang. I also used that same t-shirt yarn (called Jersey Be Good) to make new bath mats for myself.
A quick celebration of birthday-related things for my 35th birthday. What I’m feeling like, what I want, some things related to birthday crochet.
I’m running a special one-week promotion on the Kindle editions of two of my books: Crochet Saved My Life and Cracked Wide Open. You can get each of these books for just 99 cents if you purchase them today, 3/18/15.
I crochet all of the time. I crochet almost every day. And I often share photos of the work, or at least the works in progress, on Instagram. But it has been a really long time since I shared my crochet work here on the blog so I thought it would be a good time for a roundup of things I’ve made.
