Fran shared in her letter with this package that color really affects her, and that she’s thinking about making some changes around her apartment to improve her mental health. She has a light beige parlor that she’s thinking of painting – maybe blue, perhaps with a cream white trim. But she also mentioned:
“You know, I didn’t think about crochet being an art until your wrote it. You’re right; it makes sense. I jumped to the part of your book that talks about framing our crochet. Now I want to make some spots on my wall and put my crochet.”
“My kitty Angel really brings me joy. I see what you do with Lucy and know that it means a lot to people. I know that from when I was in rehab; I looked forward to when the woman would bring her dog. She only took her to certain people and I was one of them.”
And finally, a note about the butterflies that she’s created. Fran says,
“I remember that one person had said she entered rehab as a cocoon and left as a butterfly”.
