As we move into the second week of June I’ll be doing more of my regular crochet posts but I’ll still be doing a lot of posts for my Crochet Book Celebration Month. Today I thought I’d highlight Little Christmas Decorations to Knit & Crochet by Sue Stratford and Val Pierce.
About This Knit and Crochet Book
“Previously published in the highly successful 20 to Make series as 20 to Make Mini Christmas Knits by Sue Stratford and Mini Christmas Crochet (Twenty to Make) by Val Pierce, this book provides 40 delightful projects (20 knitted and 20 crocheted), with some designs knitted in different colorways to provide ideas and inspiration for how they could be adapted to match your chosen color scheme or style.”
The twenty crochet patterns include ornaments, coasters, tabletop decorations, napkin rings and more. If you’re looking to get a jumpstart on Christmas crochet then this is a good book to get your bases covered. These are all small crochet designs that are intended to be worked up quickly, so this will also work if you order the book now but put off crafting til closer to Christmas!

More About The Crochet Author
The crochet half of this book was designed by Val Pierce, a knit and crochet designer who lives and works in Shropshire. She has had patterns published in a wide range of publications and also has a number of knit and crochet books to her name, particularly in the 20 to Make series. She says on her website: “My passion for knitting and crochet began as a little girl when I used to sit and watch my mother busy clicking away. At age five my Dad sat and patiently taught me to knit and from that day on I don’t think a day has passed without me doing some kind of needle work.”
