Yesterday I shared that I was joining the 52 Week Crochet Blogging Challenge hosted by Julie of Red Berry Crochet. Today is the first day that I’m caught up on the challenge since I joined late. Well, I’m not totally caught up. This week’s challenge is to make a scrap yarn project but I’m in the midst of some other projects so I’m going to just share some of the scrap yarn projects I’ve made in the past.

As you can see, my favorite uses for scrap yarn are to either make hyperbolic crochet art pieces or to make granny squares.

Lots of inspiration for scrap projects! Hyperbolic crochet is so fascinating to me that I bought the book by Daina Taimina. Thanks for sharing your projects, and for joining the 52 Week Crochet Challenge!

they look like fun, I especially like the top bag, the colours and tweedyness really appeal to me.
