About this Awesome Crochet Blog Award
Businesses that sell crochet don’t have to have blogs but it’s better when they do. It helps get them more recognition. More importantly for us, it allows people to see the inspiration and process behind their work, the new items they’re creating and the personality behind the business. It’s great to see crochet blogs from small businesses.
Why the Winning Blog Won
Wood & Wool Stool won this crochet blog award for a few reason. First of all, I love that the bulk of this business is a single unique product – upcycled wooden stools covered with granny square style crochet covers – that has been created in a huge variety of one of a kind designs. I also love the generally super colorful crochet work on this blog. Plus I like some of the additional crochet work being done here, including crochet accessories, and cards showing images featuring crochet. The blog is filled with quick snippets that mostly let the photos of the items speak for themselves.
This Blog Previously Won …
I’ve linked to this blog many times in my weekly link love posts but this is the first time it’s received an annual awesome crochet blogger award. Each year there are only about 30 winners and there are so many more great crochet blogs out there than that so I can’t recognize everyone who is great at crochet blogging but I’m happy to recognize this blog this year!
