If you check out the Fall 2013 issue of Interweave Crochet magazine you’ll find that I’ve written an article there about an amazing teen crochet artist named Ikea Vandross.
It was so fun to interview this young adult who graduated last spring from a unique arts-oriented high school where she was allowed to pursue her interest in crochet.
Influenced by the yarnbombing movement, Ikea loves to add crochet to various utilitarian objects such as telephones and shoes. Her work is colorful, creative and inspiring.
