I’ve written about I Love Yarn Day on this blog in 2011 and 2012. This year I’m doing more than that. I’m participating in a fun I Love Yarn Day adventure in Union Square this Friday and I’m hoping that you’ll join me.
What is I Love Yarn Day?
I Love Yarn Day is an event sponsored by the Craft Yarn Council to celebrate the joys of yarn. It just means that you let others know in some way that you love yarn.
I Love Yarn Day 2013 is being celebrated by the Crochet Today! team with San Francisco’s first ever yarn-filled flash mob. It happens this Friday at noon. There will be free Red Heart yarn for early arrivers. There will be crochet and creativity and yarn-loving fun. I’ll be there. Will you?
Can’t make it to San Francisco? Check the official I Love Yarn Day site for local events in your area.
