I received the following request from someone who wants help re-writing a vintage crochet pattern based off of an existing partial piece of work. If anyone is interested in doing this type of work I’ll gladly put you in touch with Michelle to move forward.

The Request

Michelle says:

“I’m looking for some help with a project. My grandmother is about 75% finished with a thread crochet table cloth but lost the pattern years ago. I’d like to try to finish it for her myself. I’m looking for someone that could rewrite the pattern, or help me locate the original, and I’m willing to pay for the time it would take. It’s about five or so rows shy of being complete.

I do hope she finds it! I was hoping and searching for the patter of an old tablecloth that belonged to my mother - it was just too fine for me to decipher. And lo and behold, just as I almost gave up, there it was, in a second-hand book I got at the market,
